GUIDED WILDERNESS CANOE TRIPS
TARGETING SPECTACULAR CANOE COUNTRY ANGLING
All Grand Slam Guide Service (GS-2) trips are personally outfitted and guided by BWJ Publisher/Editor Stu Osthoff. For years you’ve read about the fantastic fishing on my BWCAW/Quetico trips. Finally–here is the opportunity to join me and capture your own priceless canoe country angling thrills.
It’s my job to KNOW where, when and how to put you on the fish. I can’t guarantee trophy fish for every client but I can promise we will paddle/portage into prime water at prime times and fish very, very hard. I have 30 years of hard-core fishing experience in this wilderness and a unique association with thousands of canoe country paddlers and anglers. Nobody knows the Quetico/BWCAW like I do. It’s no secret most folks paddle, camp and fish canoe country without hiring a guide. GS-2 trips are for a select few anglers who are ready, willing and able to transcend the ordinary and pursue the ultimate wilderness fishing experience. The kind of big fish action you dream about.
Each GS-2 trip is customized to target your personal fishing goals. We will work together to formulate a game plan which maximizes your chances for success. Fly fish exclusively for smallmouth or tackle the coveted canoe country grand slam. The choice is all yours.
GS-2 TRIPS INCLUDE:
• Complete Wilderness Canoe Trip Outfitting—The very best Kevlar canoes and camping equipment.
• BWJ Insulated Food Pack System—No freeze dried rations here—only fresh Real Food feasts you’ll savor forever.
• Professional Guide Service—A 100% effort to make your trip the very best it can be. I’m a licensed, insured, first aid/CPR certified wilderness guide. GS-2 trips will also be featured in the pages of BWJ. All you really need to bring is your own personal items, fishing tackle and a positive attitude. Wilderness canoe/fishing trips present physical, mental and emotional challenges. Real commitment is a must. That’s what makes canoe country angling so rewarding.
